I am a Speech-Language holding a Certification of Clinical Competence with the national credentialing association, ASHA, as well as holding Indiana state licensure. I received my bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences and went on to obtain my master’s degree from the same prestigious institute in Speech-Language Pathology.
Prior to creating New Leaf, I practiced in the outpatient and public school settings primarily working with pediatrics. In my eight years of practice, I have specialized in pediatric speech therapy with a focus in feeding, swallowing, early intervention (birth to 3), speech sound disorders, and currently myofunctional therapy. I’ve worked with a variety of patients ranging in age, abilities, and diagnoses including children with non-oral nutrition, chromosomal anomalies, neurodevelopmental disorders, and other developmental disorders.
